Snip

snip, snip, snip.......... a toe falls off
snip, snip, snip.......... a finger falls off
snip, snip, snip.......... a head falls off

I see my next victim
inching closer and closer.
I look on the wall poster to poster.

I know what I see and i've done it before.
I can keep my eyes open now looking
Door to door.

Music plays in the background but my mood
never shifts. Looking at the flesh while slitting
its wrists. At least I get paid though its sure not
a lot.

I hope i'm not fired and end up shot.

But on to the next and on to the next.
It sure gets routine though......

Poetry is the sounds that you hear in the morning

When the birds are chirping. It is that humming in

Your head to your favourite toon.

Its your deepest and darkest secrets and feelings

Expressed with passion and creativity.  It is

The dialogue to your life.

It is the coaches’ words before the big game. It is

Your parents congratulating you on your

Achievements.

Poetry is an experience. It is an experience for

Other people to snap to or an experience for

Yourself to vent for your eyes-only.

It is pouring your heart and soul on paper

With no limits or parameters. Its where the

Creative shine and the nervous flourish.

Poetry may be a way to express and emotion

Or idea to some but it is more than that.

Poetry is the shocking truth that readers

Everywhere love to see.

Poetry may just be words on paper to some

But if you look closely enough you will see

That poetry is a memory for people to share.

Catching fire!

Catching fire was the second movie of the book series book series The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This Si Fi adventure takes you to another place in time. This movie did not disappoint. The build up and the reviews held their ground. Every part was interesting and made me sit at the edge of my chair. Their were some parts that made me happy and others that made me cry. This movie deals a lot with survival of the fittest and heartbreak with loss. This movie will take you to a place you have never seen before and keep you wanting more. The third and final movie will be a great one as they hint to a 3rd one at the end. Overall I give the Catching Fire a 10/10. It was a brilliant piece of work and I cannot wait to watch the 3rd.

Physical or sedentary person

Looking at the spectacular view while the sun is glistening over the the snowy mountain tops makes being over 2000 meters high all worth it. Being an outdoor person makes me want to experience all aspects of the world we live in. From hiking the West Coast Trail to jumping in puddles on the sidewalk being outside lets you experience the world to its fullest. Biking down mountains in the summer and letting the dirt hit your face because of the force of the wind makes me feel alive. Kayaking in Clayoquot Sound for 7 days and seeing the sun glistening of the water while you take a breath in of the natures fresh air makes me feel at one with the world. Looking at stars while falling asleep and waking up to the sun on your face will make you look at life differently with all the electricity. Being outdoors makes you forget about electronics and connect with people on a level you never thought possible. I prefer the outdoors and I prefer to learn hands on because sometimes we all move so fast and we need to take a second, take a deep breath and look at the beauty of the world around us.
